About Me

My name is Riley Hill, I am a junior from Long Island, New York. My parents of course have always been my role models growing up. One person who recently has made me realize that I have looked up to her my entire life is my grandmother. Being the oldest of two younger sisters, I have had the opportunity to be a role model for them. Writting is something that I would rate a 8 out of 10. I do like to write when I have an assignment to complete, but I don’t keep a journal or write on my free time. I do like to read a lot and when I find a book that really gets my attention, I can’t put it down. So I like to read and light a candle to relax. I did take spanish in high school, but I do not know it by heart at all. I do have a cat named Milo and I love her, but I always like to mess with my parents about never letting my sisters and I get a dog growing up. The very first thing I do on my phone in the morning is answer my texts from the night before because usually I fall asleep mid conversation with someone. My favorite ethnic food has to be greek food. A hashtag to describe my life is “#staypositive”. A dream job I have always had would to work for a sports agency or college sports public relations. I would love to find a job working for ESPN. Favorite brands that I have are Nike and American Eagle. My picture on my computer wall paper is of my sister and I in our favorite vacation spot Montauk, which is the very end of Long Island. I have all social media sites. My twitter name is @riley_hilll and my Instagram is @rileyhill_. My favorite social media channels are snapchat and pinterest. Pinterest is one of my favorites because I love to look at creative ideas and crafts, also different meal ideas to cook for dinner. Snapchat is another favorite because I love messing around with all of the different filters that they put up. The best advice I have ever received is “always stay positive and always stay humble” and “be nice, be kind and mind your own business”. Both of these are things that my dad has said to me ever since I was younger. He would tell me every day when I got on the school bus to go to school and it has guided me in the right direction in different situations. Three things that most people don’t know about me is that I love to surf in the summer and early spring, my cat is mentally challenged and I am double jointed in both my thumbs.
