Well done. But what a nightmare. I have zsh set a default (chsh) but .profile isnt load when I log in with Gnome (debian buster). So I explicitly source .profile (where I traditionally had my PATH stuff set) and call “xrdb -merge .Xresources” but the x merge doesnt work until I open my second terminal. Confused? You bet.
