An important life lesson from Poker

Poker is a game that teach you a lot of things. And your personal life can be improved if you use some Poker skills. Patience is a great one.

When you are playing Poker, normally you don't get good cards frequently, and then, you should wait a good opportunity. Although Poker is not a game that you need to get good cards to play or win, in some moments, that's important.

So, the bad cards you will get, are like little "problems", or bad situations that you should to handle in your life. When you are playing Poker, you take a bad card, look at it and take a decision: 1) throw it away and move on or 2) try to do the best move you can. Simple as that. And the most important thing: you know that always get new cards and in some moment it will be good. A new opportunity always comes.

In my personal life, I try to think in this way. When I have a problem, or when I am in a bad situation I talk to myself: "this is just bad cards. A good opportunity is coming. I just should have patience and wait."
