I got to disagree with you here. This is an environment created by Google and therefore is their / your “fault”. Google higher-ups essentially force their own, personal, biases on the company personnel regardless of said personnel’s own position. Granted they choose to work for the company but ultimately you wouldn’t look at a company like Google and think “oh liberal”. This guy has had this pent up inside of him for quite sometime and he probably knew he’d get fired for it. The fact that it exists shows a failure in Google’s leadership, especially being a publicly traded company where I personally believe any true, outward, sign of politically bias should be discouraged.
He’s saying is going out of your way to “achieve diversity” is inherently wrong and now people like you look at him and say “no it’s not”. What benefits have truly come of any diversity initiative at Google? Seriously? If women want to work in tech they’ll work in tech. If a minority wants to be a coder they’ll be a coder. Why force it on everyone? Why force it at all? Can people not find their own way? Why do liberals think everyone needs to be handed something instead of earning it?
