The Purpose of Life is to Be a Nobody

I liked this right from the start. However, about halfway through, it seemed to change from celebrating the freedom you can find in “nobodyhood” (and it’s vast, indeed)…into a kind of nobody-owes-you-anything motivational speech that urges you to achieve a great career through grit and hard work. I found that disappointing because our culture gives us that message all the time. Your message was different for a time, and I liked that.
