Background — P Diddy Raid investigation:-

The Department of Homeland Security’s Investigations officers and other law enforcement personnel conducted P Diddy raids in Los Angeles and Miami in connection with a possible continuing sex trafficking investigation, the United States sources revealed on Monday.

“Earlier this morning, HSI, or Homeland Security Investigations, in New York conducted legal actions as an element of a current investigation, with help from Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our regional law enforcement partners,” the agency said in a press release. “We will provide more details as they become available.”

CBS Miami claims investigators remained at Combs’ Miami Beach home late into the evening. Combs was not present during the Miami Beach search.

Multiple Allegations Against Diddy:-

In November of last year, two women claimed the music mogul of sexual abuse. One week later he settled a separate lawsuit with the artist, Cassie, alleging rape and physical abuse. The women’s complaints were filed on the eve of the Adult Survivors Act’s expiration, a New York law that gives victims of sexual assault one year to pursue civil action regardless of the law’s statute of limitations.

“We will never undermine law enforcement when it seeks to bring charges against those who have broken the law,” Douglas Wigdor, Cassie’s attorney, stated in response to Monday’s raids. “I hope that this is the start of an investigation that will hold Mr. Combs accountable for his disgusting conduct.”

Another woman claimed Diddy and two other men of a gang sexually assaulted her in 2003 when she was just 17 years old, based on civil court records filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The woman filed her complaint under New York City’s gender-motivated abuse protection ordinance.

Last month, a male musician and producer filed a complaint alleging that Combs sexually attacked him and compelled him to have sex with prostitutes.

Lawyer Speaks Out On P Diddy Raid:-

The day after HSI conducted search orders at Combs’ Los Angeles and Miami houses, his lawyer came out.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the attorney defending Combs called the raids an “offensive misuse of military-level force,” and said there was no reason for the “hostility shown by authorities or the way his kids and employees were treated.”

Dyer went on to say that Combs “was never arrested but talked to and cooperated with authorities.”

“Despite media debate, neither Mr Diddy nor any of his family members have been imprisoned nor has their capacity for travel been limited in any way,” the statement said. “This extraordinary ambush — paired with an evolved, planned press presence — leads to a reckless rush to judgment of Mr Diddy and is nothing more than a witch hunt centred on meritless allegations made in civil lawsuits.”

And Dyer stated Combs’ intention to defend himself.

“There has been no criminal or civil liability found in any of these allegations,” he said. “Mr Combs is honest and will fight every day to clear his name.”

Details About P Diddy Raid Revealed

As for what happened during the P Diddy raid, numerous law enforcement sources accustomed to the warrant told NBC News that officials from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) seized phones from Combs’ Miami home before he was supposed to travel to the Bahamas, and multiple sources said guns were found during the search.

According to one source familiar with the case, investigators and prosecutor’s offices from the Southern District of New York interviewed three women and one man about allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and supply of illegal narcotics and firearms allegedly linked to Combs.

Diddy’s Associate Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Possession

On the same day that search warrants were executed at P Diddy’s raids of Miami and Los Angeles houses, one of his associates, Brendan Paul, was detained by Miami-Dade officers on suspicion of drug possession, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the case.

According to a Miami-Dade arrest affidavit acquired by the publication, Paul was detained for reportedly possessing alleged cocaine and marijuana sweets. After posting a bond, NBC News received prison documents revealing Paul got out on March 26.

“We aren’t planning on trying this case in the media,” Paul’s attorney Brian Bieber stated in a statement obtained by the site; “all concerns will be dealt with in court.”
