Girl power
I am not saying we underestimate women as a society and I am not saying that women are capable of outdoing men, but what I am going to narrate is an incident which says a lot.
So we have had a society which has 16 flats. Every year there comes a time when some major repairs are needed to the place. This includes, cleaning the huge tank that supplies our water, getting the sewerage lines and electrical lines repaired and other repair jobs.
All throughout mom has been busy taking the initiative and getting it done because frankly everyone else was a douche and I wasn’t at home due to my job.
This year however, since my folks had health issues and the time for all those things to get done was near, it is taking 4 men from the society who have lived for long here to get that done. Mom used to do it without breaking a sweat and these guys have their hands full and struggling like anything to get the same job done.
Talk about strength of a woman.
