2017 is filled with action, let’s take a look!

2016 was what most would call a great year for movies and we have enough reason to back this up. Not only was it the highest grossing year, and I mean on record, but it was also one of those years where you find the most iconic moments.

It got us long-awaited sequels movies that most of us are really find of like Finding Nemo and we also got the the first Star Wars spin-off.

Add to that we had Batman and Superman battling it out in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, while the Avengers had their own issues to sort out and they did. If 2017 was to compete it will have to up its game and by the looks of the movie that came out in the recent months it seems to be doing a really good job.

Okay, but what is happening next is the question that seems to be on everybody’s mind. The next onslaught of movies that we will be dealing with.

Many action movies are coming out this year and I look into those which excites me the most. So, let’s take a look.

Baywatch

Release Date: May 26th

What is that one thing that every film buff can agree on? Well, it would certainly be the fact that Dwayne Johnson makes everything so much more nice. Just look at the number of franchise he has single handedly revived. And, you get the idea. But, it is Baywatch I’m talking about and just because we have Dwayne Johnson flexing muscles in this one, i have high hopes from this.

Dunkirk

Release Date: July 21st

The next movie on the list is none other than Dunkirk. If you have heard the name Christopher Nolan than you know Dunkirk. The director is known to do everything right when it comes to his movies. So, much so that it wouldn’t be a stretch to call him the next big thing and be in the leagues of the likes of directors like Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese. The film that we are talking about is based on a true event during World War II. Cillian Murphy (The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception) and Tom Hardy (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises), will be joining Nolan and will be in the front of the camera. Maybe this will be the one which will lead to his nomination as the best director for the Oscars.

Baby Driver

Hey, if you were to ask me my all time favorite movies, then Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs. the World would be pretty much on the top of the list. And, that is just one of his amazing movies from the list of the many movies that are out there making a dent in the movie universe. It’s a film that gives you a getaway into the life of a driver who is suffering from tinnitus. And, in order to drown it out he listens to music. From what I’ve seen in the trailer things are looking great.

Okay, that’s about it. These are the movies that I’m looking forward to and I’ll be back with more later :p
