The Battle is on for the Planet of the Apes
Hollywood summer is mid-way, and many good movies have already been released that were big hits with a few that missed the mark. In the past two months we had Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Wonder Woman, Baby Driver, and The Big Sick. Releasing soon, the next upcoming Hollywood movie gearing up for a big release is War for the Planet of the Apes. The new Hollywood movie trailer review has been overwhelmingly positive, building up the third movie that will conclude critically acclaimed series.
War for the Planet of the Apes is the second movie in the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise. The first movie from 2011, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, starring James Franco got unexpectedly good reviews, which paved the way for the success of the subsequent sequel, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, which released in 2014. Now, three years later, with everything we know about War for the Planet of the Apes , the stakes are bigger than ever before.
War for the Planet of the Apes will be a final battle of between the apes and the humans for being on the top. While we already know from the original series that the Apes will win, the battle will still be equally intense. From early Hollywood movie reviews, War for the Planet of the Apes seems to deliver more than just action. Showing you both sides of the war, it will make you think about which side you would personally support. That’s not to say that the action is going to anything less than stellar. From the Hollywood movie trailer, we have seen that this time around, the apes are smarter. They will be equally matched with humans as they are not only seen riding horses but also wielding guns.
With Andy Serkis back as the voice and motion-captured avatar of Caesar and battling against Woody Harrelson who plays Colonel leading humans, this war is geared up to thrill the audiences worldwide. This is one upcoming Hollywood movie to watch out for this July. Planet of the Apes has already proved itself to be a unique franchise among all the other superhero and animation-based franchises coming out in the summer with DC, Marvel, and even Universal in the competition. The star of the series has always been the apes, with no humans crossing over into the next movie. The apes, led by Caesar, are all set to go on a war against other Hollywood blockbusters. Whether it will be a fitting and powerful end to the series remains to be seen, but there is certainly a lot of hopes riding on it.
