“Fear, it’s the most basic, the most human emotion. As kids we’re afraid of everything. The dark. The boogeyman under the bed. And we pray for morning. For the monsters to go away. Though they never do. Not really “

What is Darkness? search on Wikipedia and it states that Darkness, the polar opposite to brightness, is understood as a lack of illumination or an absence of visible light.

But to me darkness is just the presence of terror in our soul. It’s the anxiety which puts us in the situation where get terrified , where we actually need someone who could just help us out in the situation.
Malcolm Lowry once said “I wake to a Darkness in which I must follow myself endlessly, hating the I who so eternally pursues and confronts me. If we could rise from our misery, seek each other once more, and find again the solace of each other’s lips and eyes.”

It’s a battle fought between your heart and your mind . Where one wins over the other. Where the darkness conquers the mind but the heart remains solid. Always listen to your heart, it would always guide you to the best possible way!

What are the things which come to your mind after hearing the work Darkness? The first thing for sure will be a dark sight or a dark room. second thing which might click in your mind is Night! Nights has always been associated with evil.

So metaphorically speaking, every morning Horus (the sun god of Egypt) would win the battle against Set — while in the evening, Set would conquer Horus (the light and therefore life giver) and send him into the underworld. As the conqueror of Horus Set was the destroyer of light and therefore life and as Set was the darkness we have come to associate that with evil.
So this “dark vs. light” or “good vs. evil” is one of the most ubiquitous mythological dualities ever known and is still expressed on many levels to this day.

Personally talking, i always prefer night over mornings. It’s not because i practice all the evil things but its because i get to explore myself more. I get to know more about my soul.

Everyone has darkness inside them. it’s just how they discover it!
