Hi! One ticket to Anushakti Nagar — last stop.
Said Timmy to the bus conductor who was busy checking his phone.
One Min. Just one ticket is it?
Asked the bus conductor. Timmy nodded in affirmation.
It was sunday morning. The bus was empty and so was the road. Timmy got the window seat which was right in the middle of the bus. The bus conductor came next to his seat handing out Timmy’s ticket.
Conductor: Here, 12 bucks.
Timmy: Thank you!
Conductor: Look’s like we are going to reach the last stop pretty quick.
Timmy: Brilliant! what happened? why is the bus so empty?
Conductor: Don’t you know? The Match!
Timmy: What match?
Conductor: The finals, India-Australia!
Timmy: Ohh! Ok!
Conductor: Yeah; we just got a wicket 5mins back, when you boarded.
The conductor held his phone right up Timmy’s face showing the feed from his mobile.
Timmy: Wait, i have a radio!
Quickly starts digging his bag, pulls out a oval-shaped device.
Timmy: Found it! Which channel is it on?
Conductor: 104
Tuning into the channel, in a scratchy voice they here
“Another wicket”
Both: YEAHH!!
