Flame of the Forest

Strange bodies exchanging breath in the moonlight
Piercing touch of the unknown

Unanticipated but clandestine love

Unrequited but remitted love,
Sighing, colliding one against another

Brushing against the darkness in the search of pleasure lurking in the nameless

Beyond boundaries of familiarity

Resting in the arms of hours, minutes and seconds of time

Trying to find oneself in the blue inked doodles on my palms

In disappearing words, in the soft call for more, in the cries and sobs of the satiating desire,

Merging in your feather like lips kissing mine with love, passion and reverence

Tongues intertwined trying to measure the depths of want

The unexpected jaunt of the unknown like that of the liberated doves

Shackling the silence with kisses until dawn

For the dawn paused the coveting bodies and so long said the lovers of the the night.
