Thank you for an excellent analysis on what the Constitution and Bill of Rights were meant for. The cornerstones to our law were designed to protect the citizens from the government not from other citizens! However I believe that the news has slowly moved towards simplifying complex events. The primary cause for this is to create an enjoyable medium for readers to return to. If you read a complex piece it is far more likely you will get bored. If you read an article that covers topics already known it requires less effort to process. I am curious to what you think!
