I don’t wanna be a drag

I’ve really been on top of this whole “posting at least once a week” thing.

Shit happens and you get caught up in it.

Take a couple of deep breaths, let it run it’s course, take a couple more deep breaths, commit yourself to something, be proud of it, take maybe five more deep breaths, play four to five hours of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, don’t apologize for it, take one more last deep breath, and recommit yourself to your next endeavor.

“Work begets work.”

The most seemingly devastating of circumstances can send sparks flying. Suddenly, you feel something stirring inside of you. You’re not finished. Keep your head up and pursue an action. Don’t lie down and commit yourself to being noncommital.

So what, you fell down? You fell apart a little bit? And now you have to pick the pieces up and put yourself back together. Appreciate and learn from the bits that weren’t working for you. Find new bits that do. Take confidence in what you’ve built because it’s all you. Be the LEGO that hurts like hell to step on.

You are “busy and beautiful and brimming with ten-thousand moving parts.”

Shit happens.

And more often than not, it has nothing to do with you. It just happens. So don’t apologize for it.

Own yourself and everything that is coming to and from you. As long as you’re doing that, nothing else really matters.
