Mr. Jarvis, you spent months implying that Bernie Sanders’ supporters were bathed in some kind of quaint ignorance. Your twitter feed on the Clinton vs. Sanders race was often disgusting and always patronizing to those who don’t hold fast to the same right-center ideology you share with Hillary. You’re not alone; in my experience nearly all the true-blue Hillary supporters have behaved in the same fashion. This is why your numbers are low; you’ve actively carved out an island between the right and left. It’ll be more than enough to get Hillary elected against a joke opponent, sure. But her support on many issues come Jan. 20 is going to be thin and inconsistent, thanks to a campaign that ridiculed progressive ideas like single-payer healthcare and a smaller, more focused military. If you want to whine about the press coverage now, knock yourself out. But the reason you don’t “see yourself” in the coverage is because there aren’t very many of you.
