THE WEEK THAT WAS October 22–28,2018
October 22,2018:
On the previous day, I had submitted my introduction video on youtube and also created a personal website of mine as a part WITx learning program screening. This was something really new to me I enjoyed it a lot. On that day I along my friends who also applied for the same were discussing and watching the other candidate videos on the youtube. After watching all I never expected that will be selected to the training program.
October 25, 2018:
I received a mail from the volunteers of Rethink foundation stating that I am selected to the next stage of the learning program I was super excited and happy. I was really waiting for the next activities to begin. Ever since I came to know about super exciting activities done by the learning program from my friend Elsa Maria who was a participant of Cohort 1. I was really looking up for the day when I also can be a part of this learning program.
October 26, 2018:
Our first activity, we were asked to create a twitter account. Before I never had an account on Twitter. I created my own account an was waiting for the clock to strike 7.pm.Arya Murali our program anchor came live on youtube, she explained about the frameworks and principles of the program and what we are expected to do. I really enjoyed listening to her. Our second half of the activity was on the telegram group where Rasmi one of the participants of Cohort 1 asked us to find 3 opportunities and to tweet them on your twitter account as part of #discover activity. And she gave us 15 minutes to do this. I was in hurry and I managed to find 3 within the time. It was really eye-opening for me, Thousands of opportunities but no one is aware of it. And yes I tweeted for the first time :P
October 27, 2018:
Our next activity #connect where we have to watch an interview which was conducted by Cohort 1 participants. I watched Archana N`s interview, She interviewed Anu Mittal who was a Learn IT Girl scholar. I also drafted a mail to Archana N as a part of this activity also I wrote a summary blog on Medium. It was for the first time I am using Medium. It was pretty interesting. Ever since I started being a part of this learning program it is driving me to do something or other new on every day which I found really exciting. I am really looking forward to the coming day’s activities:D
