Hike of 22% in Shoppers Stop Q1FY18 Retail Turnover

A good beginning is always a new hope forthe coming days and this is what shoppers stop has successfully achieved for the first time in Q1FY18. It has recorded a retail turnover of Rs 941.1 cr for the first quarter of 2018.
Their previous year EBIDTA was Rs 35.4 crore, which is equivalent to 14 percent of growth for corresponding period last year. Shoppers Stop is spread across 38 cities with a total of 80 stores which includes 6 airport stores.

Mr. Govind Shrikhande, customer care associate and managing director, Shoppers Stop said ““The year has begun on a strong footing with sales growth at 22 per cent. We have had an action-packed quarter with the much-awaited launch of Rhea and Sonam Kapoor’s brand Rheson as well as the designer of the year awards. We will continue to design such impactful campaigns in the year”.

The sales growth for the first quarter of 2018 for shoppers Stop has been 8 percent, with 20 basis points as the net margin growth. The Fashion Share was 16.8 per cent. The store EBIDTA was Rs 6.9 crore for the reported period.
More the acquaintance more will be the benefit. This is one of the marketing strategy used by Shoppers Stop. They have expanded their membership base by adding 158,894 new members in Q1FY18 to the First Citizen Loyalty Programme and 48 lakh is currently the count of total members in it.
