That in turn led to business to the tune of several crores of rupees in the Eastern region. Another thriving industry was the Interior Decoration and Furnishing sector. Though it is an unorganized sector, yet the employment generated here for both skilled and unskilled manpower is immense. Currently, the interior decoration industry is pegged at several crores of rupees per annum and this year, the amount can increase through promotion at the exhibition that is visited by more than 1 lakh people every year.
