How to make Friends
I have learnt a lot of lessons from this chapter 1 that you should try to take interest in other people not try to get people interested in you. Because every friend wants that you should talk about his or her not about yourself every time. And every time, I hear that the most loyal animal is a dog which does not want anything but love. I think that dog is a good pet because he obeys his master. When you talk to your friend not try to use “I”, “I”, “I” because your friend did not like this.
I like Thurston because he does not like to fool the people all right. He said to himself, “I am grateful because these people come to see me; they make it possible for me to make my living in a very agreeable way. I am going to give them the very best I possibly can.”
I also learn that we can win attention and time of people after showing that I genuinely interested in them and if you want to make friends then let’s greet people with animation. Many companies train their telephone operator to start conversation with greeting.
If you want others to like you, if you want to develop friendship or want to take the help of other then you should try to show interest in other people.
When I ask my friends different question about them first they say to me that “all is right”, “why are you asking about these questions?”, “you never ask anything like this.” But some of them give an answer that I am fine and all is well and my family is also fine. Some of them astonished that why you asking these questions and some of them were making fun with me. After doing all this, I learn that I never ask these questions to my friends ever therefore they astonished.
