To be prudent, let’s review the three categories of the Stone Age, which lasted for almost three million years. This timespan, which encompasses the Paleolithic (or Old Stone Age), Mesolithic (or Middle Stone Age), and Neolithic (or New Stone Age), is characterized by the use of tools led by our ancient human ancestors (who emerged around 300,000 years B.C. ), in addition to the eventual transition from a hunting and gathering to a farming culture the primitive period, ancient history, middle ages, modern era, and contemporary era. Before the invention of writing, there existed a time in human span as PREHISTORY.
