LinkedIn (In)Activity
A post I saw on LinkedIn got me thinking about how I use it and looking back at about 3 years of (in)activity, arrived at the following empirical analysis
— Added connections, about 40% of whom I don’t know and have never met.
— Joined groups, left groups especially when the promotional material / job postings started to overwhelm actual postings with content.
— read a lot of posts and really didn’t have anything to say, so just “liked” it, especially if the poster was a good friend.
— used LinkedIn as psuedo-email.
I wonder how representative I am WRT the population at large ?
