Stops and starts for me. I’ll plow through and write until my fingers are bruised from the passionate banging in the keyboard… then nothing. It’s like my muse is bipolar: she partied hard, spends all the money, goes on a bender, then crashes hard. I never know how long each of the phases will last. But I do something writerly every day, whether it’s writing 2000+ words, or reading an article, or doing something to reach out to a reader. Give it what you’ve got and be kind to yourself! Easier said than done, but still…
