Freedom of Emotions

Writer - Freedom of Emotions

No, this section is not about, Liberate Yourself from Emotions and Transform Your Life

But,

Why Not Free Yourself in Expressing Emotions.

Don’t be too excited, Don’t be too nervous, Don’t be too angry, Don’t be too outspoken, Don’t make fuss out of it

Also,

Don’t be too happy, Don’t be too sad, Don’t cry too much, Don’t laugh too much

Essentially, boycott all that is ‘too much’.

Where am I coming from?

That’s what is quizzed time and again, that’s what awaits for all of us. We are living in a time where we are measured for everything we do and supposed to do. We are expected to act and mold as per these pre-set hypothetical norms. This also follows the traditional speech around ‘emotions-sexual-discrimination’, you are a boy, you can not cry Vs. you are a girl, you can not shout this loud.

Though we have progressed from this speech(fortunately/unfortunately) but to an even more worse of Emotion-Conformity.

But Why?

Why are we asked to refine all our emotions? Emotions of affection, joy, grief, anxiety, love. Why can’t we move with the flow? No control, no filter, no emotion checklist. Why can’t we be sovereign and independent with different emotions? Isn’t that a real freedom for all, to be free with emotions, to over-communicate about our emotional inclinations.

Too many questions but no answers!

Emotional Freedom not only leads to pursuit of happiness but also makes this place a more better place to live in instead of just sustaining in this beautiful world.
