The description of the loop from the user through the Internet and Apps back to the user is an interesting reflection of how Technology has literally been on steroids. The evolution of change in reference to the manufacturing model and delivery system for products to the user, normally took decades to change and evolve. Such as in the manufacturing system with the introduction of robots to assembly and material handling. Now we see rapid development within just a few years, as with the integration of Vision and AI systems into the system process. Brought to us, by the this Technology Boom. My personal thought and opinion is that the Open Source Model has been one of the steroids that have helped propel this dramatic growth. That and the way that companies search and reach out and capture the very best creative talent. Companies that strive to maintain that/their proprietary Model will become antiquated and left behind. And companies like Amazon and Facebook will eat the market followers and laggard competition. Who would you want to emanate from? And how far can we go, to close out this decade?
