And we’re back with my annual list of … well films, because I rank all of them from worst to best. Been doing this going ten years now, so it’s just a tradition for the beginning of the year.

Not going to go to a big intro with this one, let’s just goooooooo…..

The MCU on television

Not a good year for the House of Ideas. I’ll get into the films in the actual list, but the reception behind Secret Invasion was somewhat of a harbinger for things to come. Didn’t actually see Secret Invasion in part because of this reception. Haven’t seen Echo yet either, but that was this year. As for things last year that I did see, I enjoyed season 2 of Loki. Not necessarily as fresh or cerebral as the first season (and suffers from the presence of …. well you probably saw one of the links), but it has some strong, interesting visuals, good characters, a nice turn from the absolutely inspiring Ke Huy Quan, and a pretty good finale that does make me interested in seeing if they go anywhere with this. Even more impressive is What If Season 2, managing to surpass even the original comics version of the series with some interesting episodes. The highlight was “What If… Kahhori Reshaped the World”, which is not only the best episode of the series, but of all of the Marvel shows made so far. Playing on the example set by last year’s Prey, the episode tells the story of an indigenous woman imbued with the powers of the Tesseract, and the dialogue is…
