Vision has to be tempered with the concrete reality of finite resources. Could the Gates Foundation pay volunteers and still have the same amount of money to help the targeted needs? Math says no. So it becomes a decision of priorities.

UBI is not the same thing as giving cash to those in need. Honestly, I’d prioritize Universal Healthcare, which has a similar broad reach and has many practical implementations to start from.
