Olympic Gold Guilt
Danny Cerezo

Danny, I am a Puerto Rican born and raised in that beautiful island and now living in Atlanta, GA and all I can say is: Don’t feel guilty. Those tears you shed while seeing Mónica’s triumph mean you are proud of being a Puerto Rican, of your heritage, the place your parents came from and the simple fact that you are Boricua just like I am. Keep embracing our culture and showing it to the world as many don’t know how beautiful it is. And always remember, “yo soy Boricua, así naciera en la Luna”.
