On the other hand, if you’re building a purely static site such as a blog, it’s perfectly fine to generate the final HTML on the server and be done with it.

It always amazes me when I see a fancy loader and wait for ten seconds to get a static portfolio with some bio, links and a contact form.

Sometimes, plain old HTML (and a sprinkle of JS, like in the old times) might just be the right tool for the job.
