NASA has announced the Artemis program, which is a program to land humans back on the moon by 2024. This time we will be using sustainable, reusable vehicles and robots to establish an outpost on the moon permanently.

Scientists say there are millions of tons of water on the lunar poles, and astronauts will use the resources on the moon to manufacture items they need.

The Apollo missions brought back rocks for us that scientists learned a lot from, and inspired a generation. We have barely scratched the surface on the exploration of the moon and NASA wants to inspire future generations to explore space. If the human species is going to survive we will have to explore and build on other planets. …

In this article I will Discuss what Nasa has learned about the planet Titan, and the future Dragonfly mission. Titan is an exotic moon of Saturn; which NASA’s Cassini mission made a fly by in 2017. Scientists have learned a great deal about the planet Titan from its radar scans. The radar scans reveal deep lakes of methane in the northern hemisphere Some of the lakes are as deep as three hundred feet. Titan is the only other planetary body in our solar system to have a stable liquid, methane and ethane on it. On Titan it is so cold that the methane and ethane are in liquid form. The Cassini space craft gave scientists new information on how the methane and ethane evaporate and rain on Titan. The northern hemisphere of Titan has large seas and lakes filled with methane. The Cassini craft measured the Ontario Lacus lake in the southern hemisphere and found that it was made up of methane and ethane. The ethane is heavier than methane having more carbon and hydrogen atoms. With the Cassini mission scientists have a much better understanding of the hydrology on Titan. Titans terrain is unique on the western side having big hills and plateaus with lakes on them. On the eastern side are canyons, islands, and large seas. Cassini’s radar confirms that there are mesas and butts’ landforms with deep liquid methane and ethane lakes on them. The western lakes were formed when soft bedrock was chemically dissolved. These lakes are called Karstic lakes and are many miles across. With a better understanding of the hydrology on Titan scientists believe that the levels in the lakes very with evaporation and the seasons. …

With diabetes becoming epidemic in our country, and having two parents that are diabetic, I decided to write an article discussing the foods diabetics should and should not eat. The foods I will be discussing today are recommended for people with diabetics 2 and pre-diabetics.

Let’s start with complex carbohydrates that diabetics can eat. Oatmeal is a great source of complex carbohydrates. Other complex carbohydrate foods include raspberries, kiwi, blueberries, pomegranate, quinoa, and whole grain pastas are also great sources of complex carbohydrates.

Some of the carbohydrates not recommended include processed grains, white bread, flour, French fries, pretzels, crackers, gram crackers, and pastries. …

In this article I will start with some evidence of climate change, and then talk about what we as individuals can do to help control climate change.

Let’s spend a few minutes high lighting some of the evidence of climate change. The Antarctica and Greenland areas are experiencing a loss of two-hundred eighty-six billion tons of ice per year. In the northern hemisphere we have had reduced snow cover for the last five decades. The global sea levels have risen by eight inches. Extreme weather events like flooding, tornadoes, and hurricanes are becoming more frequent. The oceans acidity has increased by thirty percent. The oceans upper twenty-three hundred feet has risen in temperature by 0.4 degrees Fahrenheit. The temperature of the earth has risen by one point six-two degrees due to the increase in carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. The five warmest years on record have all taken place since 2010. The current warming trend on earth is ten times greater than past warming trends seen at the end of an ice age. Scientists have been tracking a glacial retreat in the Himalayan mountains. There has been an increase in the intensity and number of wild fires in the United States. The capital city of Indonesia is being moved because it was sinking do to the rise in sea levels. There is an alarming sixty percent drop in our wild life population in the last forty years. The carbon emissions have been increasing on our planet since 2011. The tropical forests are being destroyed by humanities building. …

Aldebaron home to an empire that spans nine solar systems. A human species that has trading with alien species. Most of the colonies are building freighters to haul millions of tons of precious metals and products between the solar systems.

About four hundred years ago, the Aldebaron home world of Nicabo developed a singularity drive. This allowed them to traverse the distances between solar systems and opened the galaxy up for trade and colonization. Trading their singularity drive technology with other species allowed species to expand beyond their own solar system and begin setting up colonies.

Ruled by an empress and her family the Aldebaron solar system has been at peace for two hundred years. The empress controls a large fleet of interstellar space craft that ensures the peace of the…
