Absolutely right. The literature from the 1970’s wasn’t about hating men, it was about getting rid of them, and neutralizing them, culling them. Not in a hateful evil way. Just because they can’t help how bad they are and they need to die. No hate there. Just necessity.
In all seriousness. Not dealing with 2nd and 3rd wave feminist literature’s man-hate problem is a big old elephant in the room.
