The Night of Milo and the Black Bloc

I’m also an Emigrant / Immigrant. The social order I joined is dependent on democratic legitimation. Through their rules, they allowed me stay, first as a short term guest, then as a long term member.

Me being able to legitimately say I belong where I live, in the face of objections from residents who are anti-immigration, as an immigrant, is based on acceptance of those rules. This leaves me in the position ethically that if the rules say I have to leave, after I exhausted what legal options I have, ethically, since I accepted them, I would have to go. Or accept the consequences of defiance.
