It’s not about acknowledgement. You said that States like France and Germany are more democratic than America based on a set of criteria.

That was horsefeathers, fertilizer, absolute nonsense. Europe is no more democratic or corporate unfriendly than the US. In fact for stability’s sake and the protections of positive liberties the States of Europe are at times extremely uneffingdemocratic.

None of that means the US is overly democratic or isn’t suffering from a crisis of oligarchical proportions at this very moment. But do not for a second think that Germany, or France, or Sweden (especially Sweden) are somehow more Democratic or freer in the American sense of freedom from all obstacles even those obstacles that would protect you.

Europe is different beast. The comparison was not at all accurate.
