“The real issue with the entire profession of journalism is not of “fake” or unreal news. It’s not that facts get skewed. It’s that jounalist claim to be unbiased. Everyone has a point of view and the best thing is to admit to that POV at the begining”

Just because we can’t be perfectly objective doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to be even partially objective.

I would rather journalists return to attempting to resist their own bias in the pursuit of professional reliable coverage than simply embracing their biases to become spokespeople.
