And that’s just the beginning, she now has hits such as the following…

‘Gecko (Overdrive)’ — With Oliver Heldens / Peaked at 1 in 2014

‘Back & Forth’ — With Jonas Blue & MK / Peaked at 12 in 2018

Wish You Well’ — With Sigala / Peaked at 8 in 2019

Loose Control’ — Meduza & GOODBOYS / Peaked at 11 in 2019

Better Off Without You ’ — Shift K3y / Peaked at 11 in 2019

Her new hit ‘Heaven On My Mind’ has done well within the charts as well as the dance charts and that’s what we’re here to talk about today.

Becky Hill has an exceptional voice and we can’t deny that, i mean have you heard her. Her voice is easily recognisable through its raspy and quite low pitch. However the name ‘Becky Hill’ isn’t as known as, for example Dua Lipa or Taylor Swift even smaller stars such as Rita Ora or Ava Max. If you were to mention Becky Hill, a lot of people wouldn’t turn their heads, she’s known as the ‘Girl who sang *insert song name*’ and that branding is not up to our standards

Hill could have made a name for herself by writing her own career and developing her own songs as well as music however it seems that she is heading in the direction of EDM which is not a problem but in her situation she is being named the second artist on the track instead of being the leading figure or having her own brand. Instead she falls behind names such as Sigala, MK, Meduza and other producers and DJ’s

Her name is also largely popular around the UK with little to no reputation in the states or Europe. This is also a problem as many artists have exploded into the music field within the states.

There’s also another problem. She does House/EDM music which a lot of people view as lazy and uninventive and quite frankly lazy, the same repeated verse and chorus however a lot of Becky Hill’s work is impressive vocally as well as sonically. Becky Hill is simply a powerhouse in the techno side of music however for Hill to succeed, she needs to invent her own brand, the Likes of Adele or other artists have and not be a ‘Slave To Music Producers’. Simply placing her on a track as is convenient for them

Either way, we believe Becky Hill’s career can dramatically improve if she invented herself and took more time in pursuing music that is her own rather than labelling her on other Artist’s tracks
