Now, I Am
Now I do not quietly weep. My sorrow has been allayed. His grace carried me through. Absolution in life is rare. Yet we can begin again. Nothing is erased.
I speak of unconditional love. What of unconditional grace? Surrender? Mercy? Attachment was what broke me. Expectation ladened over us — a death jus. The sheets of gauze absorb any lingering fluid. We’re clean once again. This doesn’t build us any higher, but the foundation can bear a bit more weight.
I have invited you into my world yet again. A fool’s errand. I’m so eager for your love and more eager to be light. That you should be trusted. That you should be right. Trust that you are lovely. That you could love me.
