This guy has been a journeyman his whole career. Give him the opportunity to pitch only the 24th game in MLB history!
Dave Roberts intervention is just his way of showing how tough he can be so he get’s the nod at end of the year for individual accolades and awards.
The last person to have been removed from a perfect game at this stage was all the way back in 1913. A lot of tough skippers since then as well.
I guess will never know…..thanks Dave. :-)
