Great story!

Here is the thing.

Africans were brought to America as slaves. Assets for the use of generating income for the slave owners. Much of the wealth generated in America at the time were created from slave labor.

When slaves were “freed”, they were no longer assets, but they became liabilities. Potential competition to the privileged few.

It was against the law for slaves to read. It saddens me that more African Americans don’t take the time to read because of the tactic that was used to keep us ignorant.

Although the slaves were “freed” and laws were set for them to be given equal opportunity, the authorities — at the time — knew my people wouldn’t be treated fairly anyway.

Even to this day, the system is used to keep us in (economic)slavery.

We know what’s going on, but few are willing to do anything about it.

Much of the system is designed to keep us in fear. Not just African Americans, but everyone who isn’t in the “elite class”. Many other races have experienced this kind of hatred: Hispanics, Asians, and the Irish just to name a few. Recently, when the media covered the war on terror, they would highlight people of Middle Eastern descent.

This is all by design.

When a person of African American or Hispanic descent commits an alleged crime, that person is labeled a thug. If the individual is of Middle Eastern heritage, he/she is an international terrorist. But, if a white guy decides to burn a church, shoot up a movie theater, or blow up a hospital, he is mentally disturbed.

The stories the American media paints is designed to influence the opinions of the mass majority towards these stereotypes. Not just the news, but the television shows, music videos, and other sources of pop culture.

  • Street entrepreneurship is glamorized in music videos.
  • Gangsters are hyped to up to be the standard of manhood.
  • The objectification of women is all over the entertainment industry.
  • Sex is presented as either something to avoid or pinnacle of life instead of something natural.

As long as we live in fear and conform to the system, we might be able to live a peaceful life.

The elite racist few view minorities (especially African Americans)as less than animals. They treat their pets like royalty, but when it comes to anyone who looks different from them, that’s another story.

So, drugs are introduced in the Black and Hispanic communities and Middle Eastern people are demonized and mentally associated with terrorism. All so they can make the rest of the world perceive us the way they do.

Why?

Because for some reason, we are considered competition or a threat to their way of life.

Anyone who isn’t a part of the “privileged white class” is perceived as less than human.

Uncivilized beasts.

So as time went by, drugs were easily accessible in the poor communities. Isn’t it funny how you can find liquor stores on every corner in poor neighborhoods?

Not just black neighborhoods, but every economically poor community.

These same “people” are responsible for beating, killing, enslaving, and erasing the identities of cultures, just so they can integrate their way of life into a society they believe “needs saving”. They do these things to the humans they consider “uncivilized beasts”.

Sadly, not much will change until Americans — of all races — self-educate and stop allowing the media and authority figures to think for us.

I don’t mean to become aware of the issue(we are all well aware), but educate ourselves to rise above all of the bullshit the system created that keeps us divided.

Learn how to build wealth, encourage a love for all people, and live as a united civilization. It doesn’t matter if people are Democrat or Republican. Neither party has the American people’s best interest in mind.

The change we need starts in the home and the hearts of the American people. As long as the American people continue to give in to fear, the United States — or any other country — will never be truly united.
