The NRA is out for one thing, to represent the gun manufacturers and to make them money. The more guns they sell, the more they get paid. Very simple. They are adamant about ANY gun being illegal because it means one thing, LESS MONEY for the gun manufacturers, which means less money for the NRA.

What is ironic are the people who hate Wall Street because of the wealth that is at the top. Yet, they have no problem with the gun manufacturers who are also billionaires, making a profit from objects that kill innocent people.

And I wish gun owners would understand that no one wants to abolish the second amendment. Most Americans just want safer laws to help to protect everyone. Close the loopholes, stop straw purchases, stop letting anyone that can breathe buy a gun. The pro gun people are always the ones that say most gun owners are responsible. And I agree. So, if they are responsible then what is the problem? Why wouldn’t they all agree that we need better enforcement of laws, better background checks, and more of a cautiousness toward guns? I would think that gun owners would want these things because they are supposedly responsible gun owners. IMO
