Gene Wilder Was Right: Gilda Radner Didn’t Have To Die, And We Need To Talk About Why She Did

A very sad but powerful story. Thank you.

Gilda Radner was one of my favorites on Saturday Night Live. Roseanne Roseannadanna did it for me. Her comedy was sweet and non-threatening in retrospect. She seemed innocent of everything. Just a nice person.

These struggles were hard to read about. My wife and I went through the death by cancer of a family member not long ago, on my wife’s side. It was of the diagnosis-remission-recurrence variety, and required significant end of life care and vigils at the hospital. This reminded me of that.

May both Gilda Radner and Gene Wilder rest in peace.
