The Mental Disease of Late-Stage Capitalism
Joe Brewer

If you know of a better system where we the people are not controlled by the government or the collective, I’m all for it. I know of none. Some equate capitalism with greed and wealth hoarding, wrongly I think. There is greed and wealth hoarding in every system. Capitalism is nothing more than allowing you and I, individuals, to live our lives as we see fit. It’s an imperfect system living in an imperfect world. But socialism, recently popularized by Bernie, has proven to be far more destructive.

And I refuse to play the victim. Education doesn’t require massive amounts of debt. Jobs are plentiful. And we have the freedom to start a business or pursue any career we desire. If one cannot attain some level of success in the United States, I submit, the system isn’t the problem.
