Tension headaches — How the cupping technique helps pregnant women. A personal case study.

Sometimes, doctors suggest massage sessions instead of pills, because the mothers worry that what they ingest may harm the fetus. Massage therapists, with years of experience or qualified studies, can help to relieve the tension-type headaches. Swedish massage on a side-lying position is acceptable as a safe procedure in pregnancy cases. However, is this massage modality enough when pregnant women suffer from tension headaches every week?

Let me tell you a short history behind my case study.

A year ago, I started treating this beautiful woman because of migraine and tension headaches. As a result, the frequency and the intensity of headaches decreased considerably with the Integrative Neuromuscular Massage. Working on restoring the patterns of a proper posture helped her a lot.
