Time to Tip Trump Over

Trump is reeling on all cylinders but his opponents still seem unable to focus their fire. Consider all the events from this past week — each of which, standing alone would have been the tipping point to weaken past inept Presidents:

Defeat of the attempt to repeal the ACA (which in itself showed the power of focus on an issue)

Betrayal of the transgender community with a lie about the advice of “generals” all of whom were taken by surprise

The internecine battles in the White House sparked by the unspeakable language of Trump’s new BFF

Calling on police to violate the civil tights of our citizens

Reacting to the defeat of repeal by stopping the buck anywhere but on him — and threatening to fight AGAINST the health care of our citizens until he gets his way

All of this is in addition to the continuing revelations of the money trail that should provide the evidence that fuels Trump’s support of Russia — and countless examples of lack of eptitude and/or ethics. That is the problem; as Pogo put it: “we are surrounded by an abundance of opportunity” that keeps us in a constant state of diffusion.

The genius of Trump’s campaign was his instinctive ability to consistently position his various rivals — often with a single, flexible word. This is the keystone of effective marketing. To really beat Trump (who still has a strong base, albeit one that is shrinking in the face of his incompetence) we need that type of focus. Wish I had the right phrasing; but, hopefully, someone will come up with the right phrasing. trump is teetering and we need the right leverage to tip him over.
