Colby Brown Photography Workshops Sharpen Skills

Robert Eagle, a California-based graphic designer specializing in concept innovation and creative promotion, uses a variety of visual communication methods in his work. Photographs are recognized as a primary means of sharing and communicating messages. Robert Eagle admires the work of professional photographer Colby Brown, who hosts a variety of workshops throughout the year in order to help amateur photographers develop their skills.

Colby Brown is an award-winning landscape, travel, and humanitarian photographer who has traveled the world to capture mesmerizing images. As an educator, he works to help photographers of all skill levels increase their technical abilities while also helping them to grow creatively. He leads popular workshops that allow photographers to capture the beautiful scenery of the Lofoten Islands in Norway, the aurora borealis in Iceland, culture in Myanmar, and the mountains of Patagonia.

The eight-day Iceland Summer Adventure workshop takes advantage of the unique summer lighting of the Arctic. The “midnight sun” is when sunrise and sunset converge, bringing increased daylight and unusual lighting conditions. The Summer Adventure workshop is unique in that there is no set itinerary. Colby Brown and another instructor will guide participants through the countryside based on daily weather reports and road conditions, forgoing the restrictions that a set schedule can create. This flexible schedule allows photographers complete freedom to capture stunning photographs when conditions are just right. Participants camp in tents throughout the workshop, so they’re never far from that perfect shot.
