El espíritu de las redes 1

Cuando ingresé a la carrera de filosofía en la UBA, la red FILO no era tan grande como ahora: no existía la posibilidad de inscribirse online, solo existía la página web y un reciente webmail, sin embargo, y a pesar de mis escasos conocimientos técnicos, pude indagar sobre el nombre de sus nameserver: Trotsky.filo.uba.ar y Lenin.filo.uba.ar.
Siempre sentí interés por los nombres que tiene las maquinas. Dicen mucho sobre las instituciones y sus dueños, por ejemplo, como negar que nombres como Trotsky y Lenin hablan de la ideología imperante en la facultad de filosofía y letras de la uba. Por supuesto, si uno se vuelve metódico y minucioso descubrirá otros nombres como Marx, Marti, o tehuelche. Bastaría con hacer un simple script para descubrir muchos más:

Cada computadora tiene un nombre y nos revela una forma de concebir el mundo. Algunos son gracioso, no sé, por ejemplo, hay una maquina en el colegio de buenos aires que se llama alcatraz. Es un buen nombre para la maquina de un colegio. Todo colegio es una prisión. El colegio más famoso del pais merece el nombre de la carcel más famosa del mundo.
