FPL — Gameweek 15 | Spot The Difference
Back once again this week with my under 10% owned differentials ahead of another bumper edition of the English Premier League. As always before we move into this gameweek, let’s look back at my picks from GW14.
Petr Cech — 6pts 🛡
Andreas Christensen — 6pts 🛡
Eden Hazard — 1pt ❌
Christian Benteke — 2pts 😐
Defensively this week, 2 solid picks, both with clean sheets, however the resting of Hazard up top, meant a slimline 1 point — I am still confident the Belgian will come good over the new few fixtures. And yeah, Benteke…bad pick (*cough* Rob Taylor *cough*). Now onto this weeks picks.
Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) — TSB: 4.2% VAL: 5.0m
BUR [H] NEW [A] SOU [A]
No clean sheet in his last 4 games, you may think I am crazy in picking The Foxes keeper. However they play Burnley, who despite sitting comfortably in 6th have only scored 14 all season — ranked 11th overall and are 16th for total shots. Their away record is solid, but I have a feeling with Fuchs returning the rearguard of Leicester will hold strong.
Jonjoe Kenny (Everton) — TSB: 0.5% VAL: 4.3m
HUD [H] LIV [A] NEW [A]
Having started each of the last six at right-back and serving up 11 points against West Ham, I get the sense that the young Evertonian will find his feet under new leadership. His next 3 represent fixtures that are, on paper, decent — with a tantalising Merseyside derby next week.
Eden Hazard (Chelsea) — TSB: 9.6% VAL: 10.7m
NEW [H] WHU [A] HUD [A]
I am not saying it again. He will come good.
Olivier Giroud (Arsenal) — TSB: 1.2% VAL: 8.2m
MNU [H] SOU [A] WHU [A]
With Lacazette sidelined I am tipping the Frenchman to pip Danny Welbeck to get the nod against Manchester United. Having bagged a goal midweek against Huddersfield, his first, since his goal against Leicester on opening day I expect the man leading the Gunners line to add to the woes of The Red Devils, having conceded 4 in their last 4.
