Minor thoughts about *

You know that feeling. That feeling of fleeting you get every once and a while when you stop to think about your existence at this moment. A frame in free-fall through your life, from your oldest fuzzy memory the 3 pounds of wetware in your skull can conger up, to the abyss of uncertainty guarding the next moment. You’re on a run away train with an unknown destination, you have no recollection of boarding, and it doesn’t seem there are brakes. Maybe the trestle is out ahead? Who knows? Should you even care? Personally I’m convinced that all any of us can do is try our best to anticipate and mitigate challenges as they arise. We should try to better understand the nature of our existence. Perhaps even try to make something meaningful of it all, so later passengers will better enjoy their own fleeting journey.
