After 23 years of Army Reserves, and sleeping in the mud, I was convinced that I prefer hotels. My wife got me back into camping recently, and we’re now looking for better sleeping mats for our bike camping trips. You’re right… I have a hard time remembering the inside of hotel rooms, but can remember much of my sleeping adventures outdoors.
