It’s needed in the long run

The return of being busy is back with us. The global pandemic allowed us all to take a step back and focus on what really matters to us.

Being busy is worn as a badge of honour to some, always on the go. It’s important to build in periods of downtime to allow your body and mind to relax.

While it may not be possible to book yourself into a relaxing spa each week, do the following things to let your mind ease:

  • Good to bed on time
  • Delete social media for a day/week
  • Block non urgent app notifications during the day. It’s a constant pull on your attention
  • Go for long walks without your phone
  • Eat clean no junk food
  • Work on your mobility – this pays massive dividends as to how your body feels each day.
  • Drink lots of water
