I live almost as far away from Chicago as you can and still remain in the continental United States, but it seems to me that black leaders must first take responsibility for misleading their adherents, creating a climate of being owed instead of being productive. I think of the great black leaders, such as George Washington Carver, Clarence Thomas, and Ben Carson. These men stood for individual responsibility. It is only though the great leaders like these and tough as nails effort to climb out of the ghettos will true success arrive in the black community.
