How the Web Became Unreadable
Kevin Marks

Great article, Kevin! I’ve been complaining about this for years, and have used Stylebot to overcome it on just about every site I hit.

Do you have any thoughts on serif vs sans-serif fonts for readability? I recall reading somewhere that in print, headings are generally sans-serif, and content is serif, and I’ve found that seems to be the case.

I have also noticed that on websites, I find that same pattern to be the most readable. A co-worker says the opposite — he thinks serif content is too “jerky”.

What are your thoughts, if any?
